BRITISH SCIENCE FICTION ASSOCIATION AWARDS 2010

British Science Fiction Association (BSFA)a fost fondată în 1958 de un grup de fani SF, autori, editori și librari cu scopul promovării SF-ului.

BSFA currently publică trei reviste:
•Vector (critică și recenzii, 6 numere anual)
•Matrix (newsletter, 6 numere anual)
•Focus (publicația autorilor din cadrul BSFA, 2 numere pe an)

Premiile BSFA sînt decernate anual din 1970.Între 1970-1979, a existat o singură categorie (roman), în 1979 s-au adăugat categoriile "nuvelă" și "artwork".
Între 1979 și 1992 a existat și o categorie pentru media iar din 2002 s-a adăugat și categoria "non fiction".

Jurizarea pentru nominalizări și premii se face prin voturile membrilor BSFA și a participanților la Eastercon, Convenția SF britanică.
