British Fantasy Society a organizat convenţia anuală de fantasy,FantasyCon 2009,în Nottingham,Marea Britanie între 18-20 septembrie 2009.
Guests of Honour au fost Jasper Fforde,Brian Clemens,Gail Z.Martin şi ca Master of Ceremonies,celebrul scriitor SF,Ian Watson.
FantasyCon a cuprins lecturi,dizertaţii,dezbateri,ateliere literare şi baanchetul acordării Premiilor British Fantasy.
